IMPROVED PJOK LEARNING OUTCOMES THROUGH CHARACTER-BASED NHT TYPE COOPERATIVE MODEL

Abstract

This research aims to find out the significant differences in PJOK learning outcomes  between semester IV students majoring in PGSD UPPBM Denpasar which is taught with a character-based Number Head Together (NHT) type cooperative learning model and taught with conventional models. This research is done using a type of pseudo-experimental research with a design of nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study is all students of semester IV Department pgsd UPPBM Denpasar. The study sample was determined by random sampling technique. The study sample consisted of two groups, the experimental group and the control group. The determination of the sample is determined by way of being drawn. This research data is in the form of physical education learning results of passing materials under the ball game conducted by test methods. The collected data is analyzed by test using test-t test analysis polled variance. The results showed that there was a significant difference in PJOK learning outcomes in volleyball materials, namely lower passing between students of the fourth semester of PGSD UPPBM Denpasar department in 2021 which was taught with a character-based NHT type cooperative model with conventionally taught in the 2021 college year. The difference is obtained from the results of the analysis of research data with tests polled variance with the results obtained t-calculated by 2,055, the price is then compared with the price of t-table with dk = 39 + 39 - 2 = 76 and a level of significance of 5%. Thus obtained the price of t-table 1,991, because t-calculate > t- table (2,055 > 1,991) then Ho was rejected and Ha accepted. This means there is a significant difference.
