Abstract

The aim of this research to find out the egg hatchability of turtle produced from incubation different temperatures. This research used 48 eggs of turtle and were divided into 2 groups of temperature treatments, those were high temperature (300C-330C) and low temperature (240C-270C) which were incubated for ± 2 months and the observation was done after the hatching of those eggs. The data obtained from the observation were analyzed descriptively.
The result of the research showed that the egg hatchability of turtle that were incubated in high temperature (300C-330C) was 70,83% and low temperature (240C-270C) was 66,67%. The result can be concluded that the higher egg hatchability of turtle are incubated at high temperatures than at low temperatures.
