IDENTIFIKASI EKTOPARASIT PADA INSANG IKAN LELE (Clarias sp.) DARI KOLAM BUDIDAYA DI BAKUNASE

Abstract

Abstrak - Ektoparasit merupakan salah satu sumber permasalahan pada budidaya ikan lele (Clarias sp.). Infeksi parasit ini dapat menyebabkan gangguan pada sistem tubuh ikan, luka hingga kematian. Oleh karena itu, perlu diketahui jenis parasit yang menginfeksi ikan budidaya agar apabila ditemukan dalam jumlah banyak dapat segera ditangani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis parasit yang ditemukan pada insang ikan lele (Clarias sp.) dari kolam budidaya di Bakunase. Metode yang digunakan pada pengambilan sampel adalah metode biopsi dengan identifikasi berdasarkan buku serta literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya ektoparasit seperti Gyrodactylus sp., Dactylogyrus sp., dan Trichodina sp.

Abstract - Ectoparasites are one of the sources of problems in catfish (Clarias sp.) farming. Infection with these parasites can cause disruption to the fish's body system, injury and death. Therefore, it is necessary to know the types of parasites that infect cultured fish so that if found in large numbers can be treated immediately. This study aims to determine the types of parasites found in the gills of catfish (Clarias sp.) from aquaculture ponds in Bakunase. The method used in sampling is biopsy method with identification based on books and literature. The results showed the presence of ectoparasites such as Gyrodactylus sp., Dactylogyrus sp., and Trichodina sp.
