ANALISIS HASIL TANGKAPAN GURITA PADA ALAT TANGKAP HAND LINE MENGGUNAKAN UMPAN POCONG - POCONG YANG DI OPERASIKAN OLEH NELAYAN DIPERAIRAN KABUPATEN ENDE PROVINSI NUSA TENGGRA TIMUR

Abstract

Abstrak - Kabupatenh Ende merupakan Kabupaten yang memiliki potensi perikanan laut yang cukup besar. Salah satu komoditas unggulan Kabupaten Ende adalah gurita (Octopus sp). Harga gurita tingkat nelayan cukup prospektif dibanding ikan lain. Hal ini menyebabkan sebagian besar nelayan di kabupaten Ende menjadikan komoditas gurita  sebagai tangkapan utama. Salah satu teknologi perikanan yang memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap hasil tangkapan terletak pada konstruksi peralatan penangkapan, jenis-jenis peralatan penangkapan yang digunakan, dan teknik operasionalnya. Nelayan Penangkapan gurita di Perairan Ende masih menggunakan alat tangkapan tradisional yaitu alat tangkap (Hand line) dengan umpan pocong – pocong yang merupakan salah satu jenis alat tangkap yang digunakan untuk menangkap gurita. Komposisi hasil tangkapan pada alat tangkap Hand line (pocong – pocong ) yang didaratkan di tiga lokasi pada perairan Ende,  terdapat 1 family 1 spesies yang terdiri dari Gurita Karang (octopus cyanea) sebesar 100%. Produksi hasil tangkapan oleh nelayan yang didaratkan di tiga lokasi pada perairan Ende selama 5 tahun yaitu pada tahun 2019- 2023  dengan nilai produksi tertinggi pada tahun 2023 sebesar 1493,5 kg dan terendah tahun 2020 sebesar 995,6 kg. Nilai CPUE tertinggi pada tahun 2023  sebesar 1286,94 kg/trip dan terendah tahun 2020 sebesar 900,84 kg/trip.

Abstract - Ende Regency is a regency with significant potential for marine fisheries. One of Ende Regency's flagship commodities is octopus (Octopus sp). The price of octopus at the fisherman level is quite promising compared to other fish. This has led the majority of fishermen in Ende Regency to consider octopus as their main catch. That one of the fishing technologies that contribute significantly to catch results lies in the construction of capture equipment, the types of capture equipment used, and their operational techniques. Octopus fishermen in the waters of Ende still use traditional capture tools, namely hand lines with "pocong-pocong" bait. "Pocong-pocong" is one of the types of capture tools used to catch octopus. The composition of the catch results using hand lines ("pocong-pocong") landed at three locations in the waters of Ende shows one family and one species, consisting of Coral Octopus (Octopus cyanea) at 100%. The production of catch results by fishermen landed at three locations in the waters of Ende over 5 years, from 2019 to 2023, had the highest production value in 2023 at 1493.5 kg and the lowest in 2020 at 995.6 kg. The highest CPUE (Catch Per Unit Effort) value in 2023 was 1286.94 kg/trip, while the lowest was in 2020 at 900.84 kg/trip.
