KOMPOSISI DAN PRODUKSI IKAN HASIL TANGKAPAN MINI PURSE SEINE DI PERAIRAN TELUK KUPANG

Abstract

Abstrak - Mini purse seine adalah alat tangkap berupa kantong yang dilengkapi dengan cincin dan purse line yang terletak di bawah tali ris yang berfungsi untuk menyatukan bagian pembawa jaring pada saat beroperasi dengan cara menarik purse seine sehingga jaring membentuk kantong. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui produksi dan komposisi ikan hasil tangkapan alat tangkap mini purse seine di perairan Teluk Kupang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan sebanyak 8 kali dalam satu bulan dan metode yang digunakan adalah survei deskriptif. Peneliti menemukan komposisi jumlah hasil tangkapan mini purse seine di perairan Teluk Kupang dari 7 jenis ikan terlihat bahwa ikan tongkol memiliki jumlah hasil tangkapan tertinggi pada ikan tongkol 1980 kg dengan komposisi persentase 88% dan hasil tangkapan terendah adalah terdapat pada ikan selar sebanyak 40 kg dengan persentase komposisi (1,78%); ikan layang sebanyak 40 kg dengan komposisi persentase yaitu (1,78%) sedangkan total produksi setiap jenis ikan hasil tangkapan mini purse seine ini secara total bervariasi tinggi rendahnya total produksi selama 1 bulan, jumlah produksi tertinggi adalah ditemukan pada ikan tongkol, ikan tembang dan ikan kembung. Selain itu jumlah produksi ikan dari hasil tangkapan ini, jika dilihat dari tinggi rendahnya variasi berdasarkan total produksi semua jenis ikan dan lama perjalanan selama 1 bulan yaitu produksi hasil tangkapan mini purse seine tertinggi adalah pada trip I sebesar 1000 kg, kemudian pada trip V sebesar 300 kg dan terendah pada trip IV sebesar 50 kg.

Abstract - Mini purse seine is a fishing gear in the form of a bag equipped with a ring and purse line which is located under the ris line which functions to unite the carrying parts of the net during operation by pulling the purse seine so that the net forms a bag. The purpose of this study was to determine the production and composition of fish caught by mini purse seine fishing gear in the waters of Kupang Bay. Sampling was carried out 8 times in one month and the method used was a descriptive survey. Researchers found the composition of the number of mini purse seine catches in the waters of Kupang Bay from 7 types of fish, it was seen that tuna fish had the highest catch in 1980 kg tuna with a percentage composition of 88% and the lowest catch was found in tuna fish as much as 40 kg with a percentage of 88%. composition (1.78%); scad fish as much as 40 kg with a percentage composition of (1.78%) while the total production of each type of fish caught in mini purse seines varies in total, high and low total production for 1 month, the highest amount of production is found in tuna, tembang fish and mackerel. In addition, the amount of fish production from this catch, if viewed from the high and low variation based on the total production of all types of fish and the length of the journey for 1 month, namely the production of the highest mini purse seine catch was on trip I of 1000 kg, then on trip V of 300 kg and the lowest on the IV trip of 50 kg.
