JENIS - JENIS IKAN HASIL TANGKAPAN PADA ALAT TANGKAP POLE AND LINE DI PERAIRAN FLORES TIMUR, PROVINSI NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR

Abstract

Abstrak – Penelitian ini berguna agar memahami jenis-jenis ikan apa saja yang tertangkap pada alat tangkap pole and line, jumlah ikan per jenis yang tertangkap pada alat tangkap pole and line, dan produksi hasil tangkapan ikan yang tertangkap pada alat tangkap pole and line di perairan Flores Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mengumpulkan data observasi yaitu dengan mengikuti nelayan ke lokasi penangkapan ikan, dan data yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis komposisi jenis dan analisis CPUE. Pengambilan data lapangan dilakukan selama 12 kali trip pengoperasian kapal pada bulan Oktober, November, dan Desember tahun 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukan komposisi jenis hasil tangkapan dari alat tangkap pole and line terdiri dari ikan cakalang dan ikan baby tuna. Dengan hasil tangkapan tertinggi terdapat pada spesies ikan cakalang, tangkapan paling rendah spesies ikan baby tuna. Jumlah komposisi jenis ikan hasil tangkap tertinggi menggunakan alat tangkap pole and line yang di operasikan di perairan Flores Timur adalah spesies ikan cakalang memiliki nilai komposisi sebesar 91,899%, dan spesies ikan baby tuna dengan nilai komposisi sebesar 8,1000%. Hasil analisis CPUE memperlihatkan bahwa nilai CPUE ikan cakalang sebesar 1966,9, ikan baby tuna sebesar 141,4 dan total 2108,5. Rata – rata jumlah produksi per trip didapat dari jumlah produksi selama tiga bulan penelitian dari dua spesies ikan dibagi banyaknya trip yaitu 12 trip selama 3 bulan penelitian.

Abstract -This study aims to determine what types of fish are caught in pole and line fishing gear, the number of fish per type caught in pole and line fishing gear, and the production of fish caught on pole and line fishing gear in East Flores waters. This study used the method of collecting observational data by following fishermen to fishing locations, and the data obtained were analyzed using type composition analysis and CPUE analysis. Field data collection was carried out during 12 ship operation trips in the months (October, November, and December) of 2020. The results showed the composition of the types of catch from the pole and line fishing gear consisted of skipjack and baby tuna. With the highest catch is found in skipjack fish species, and the lowest catch is in the baby tuna fish species. The highest number of fish species composition using Pole and Line fishing gear which is operated in the waters of East Flores is the skipjack tuna species which has a composition value of 91.899%, and the baby tuna species with a composition value of 8.100%. The CPUE analysis results show that the CPUE value of skipjack / Katsuwonus pelamis is 1966.9, baby tuna (Thunnus albacares) is 141.4 and the total is 2108.5. The average number of production per trip is obtained from the amount of production during the three months of the study of the two fish species divided by the number of trips, namely 12 trips during the 3 months of the study.
