STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN KOMODITI JAMBU METE DI DESA NANGAHALE KECAMATAN TALIBURA KABUPATEN SIKKA

Abstract

Objectives of the study are : (1) to know the of interen and eksteren Factor that influence the development of production center agribusiness commodities cashew nuts (2) to find out any Strategy affecting the development of agribusiness center commodity cashew cashews the most effective and efficient (3) to know the influence of age factor of cashew tree to the production of cashew nut every year.  In this study, researchers used descriptive qualitative methods, with 20 informants consisting. The technique of determining informants using purposive sampling. Sources of data obtained are primary and secondary data. Methods of data collection are interviews, observation and in-depth recording. Data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative. The result, From SWOT matrix analysis shows that the main strategy applied is to minimize the weakness factor to maximize the opportunity factor. Based on the main strategy, the proposed activities include: (1) restoring soil fertility through the addition of organic fertilizer, (2) increasing production through intensification, (3) improving the quality and quantity of products by thinning and rejuvenation or the population can be reduced so that the production per tree does not decrease.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) Untuk mengetahui Faktor interen dan eksteren apa saja yang mempengaruhi pengembangan sentra produksi agribisnis komoditi jambu mete (2) Untuk mengetahui Strategi apa saja yang mempengaruhi pengembangan sentra produksi agribisnis komoditi jambu mete yang paling efektif dan efesien (3) Mengetahui pengaruh faktor umur pohon jambu mete terhadap produksi biji mete setiap tahun. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan informan berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik penentuan informan menggunakan purposive sampling. Sumber data yang diperoleh adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi dan pencatatan mendalam. Teknik analisis data adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasilnya dari analisis matriks SWOT menunjukkan bahwa strategi utama yang diterapkan adalah meminimalkan kelemahan faktor untuk memaksimalkan faktor peluang. Berdasarkan strategi utama, kegiatan yang diusulkan meliputi: (1) memulihkan kesuburan tanah melalui penambahan pupuk organik, (2) meningkat produksi melalui intensifikasi, (3) peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas produk dengan penjarangan dan peremajaan atau populasinya dapat dikurangi supaya produksi per pohon tidak menurun.
