This research used 100 KUB chickens and lasteid for four weieiks. Thei reiseiarch meithod useid was a compleiteily randomizeid deisign consisting of 5 treiatmeints, eiach treiatmeint consisting of 5 reiplications and eiach reiplication containing 4 chickeins. Treiatmeints is diffeireintiateid baseid on thei peirceintagei of sorghum useid as a substitutei for corn in thei ration. Thei fivei treiatmeints arei R<sub>0</sub> : 0% sorghum in thei ration and, R<sub>1, </sub>R<sub>2, </sub>R<sub>3</sub>, R<sub>4</sub> reispeictiveily 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80% sorghum as a substitutei for corn in thei ration. Variableis meiasureid includei body weiight gain, feieid consumption, body weiight gain, final body weiight and feieid conveirsion ratio. Thei reisults of analysis of variancei showeid that substitution of corn flour with sorghum flour up to 80% had no significant eiffeict on thei peirformancei of chickeins. Baseid on thei reiseiarch reisults, it can bei concluded that sorghum can substitute 80% corn in chicken diets without adversely affecting growth performance of KUB chickens in the grower period.</p> <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dampak penggantian tepung jagung dengan tepung sorgum dalam ransum terhadap performa Ayam Lokal Unggul (KUB) Balitbangtan. Studi ini menggunakan 100 ekor ayam KUB berusia empat minggu dan dilakukan selama empat minggu. Studi ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan, masing-masing dengan 5 ulangan, dan setiap ulangan terdiri dari 4 ekor ayam. Perawatan dibedakan berdasarkan proporsi sorgum yang digunakan sebagai pengganti jagung dalam makanan. Lima perlakuan terdiri dari R0, yang mencakup 0% sorgum dalam pakan, dan R1, R2, R3, serta R4, yang masing-masing mencakup 20%, 40%, 60%, dan 80% sorgum, sebagai pengganti jagung dalam pakan. Variabel yang diukur meliputi peningkatan berat badan, asupan pakan, berat badan akhir, dan rasio konversi pakan. Analisis data varians menunjukkan bahwa mengganti tepung jagung dengan tepung sorgum hingga 80% tidak berdampak signifikan terhadap performa ayam percobaan. The study was designed using a completely randomized design consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replicates. Each replicate contained 5 chickens. The treatments were P<sub>0</sub> as the control, with no added Japanese Papaya leaf decoction; P<sub>1</sub> 25 ml of Japanese Papaya leaf decoction / 975 ml drinking water; P<sub>2</sub> 50 ml of Japanese Papaya leaf decoction / 950 ml drinking water; P<sub>3</sub> 75 ml of Japanese Papaya leaf decoction / 925 ml drinking water; and P<sub>4</sub> 100 ml of Japanese Papaya leaf decoction / 900 ml drinking water. Parameters observed included feed intake, drinking water consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion ratio. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the addition of Japanese Papaya leaf decoction to drinking water had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the amount of drinking water consumed, but did not significantly affect (P>0.05) feed intake, body weight gain, and feed conversion ratio. Based on the research findings, it is concluded that providing Japanese Papaya leaf decoction at a concentration of 100 ml / 900 ml drinking water can increase drinking water consumption but has not yet improved feed intake, body weight gain, and feed conversion ratio in Broiler Chickens</p> <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian air rebusan daun pepaya jepang dalam air minum terhadap performa ayam broiler. Dirancang menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap yang terdiri atas 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Masing-masing ulangan berisi 5 ekor ayam. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu: P0 sebagai kontrol tanpa tambahan air rebusan daun pepaya jepang; P1 25 ml air rebusan daun pepaya jepang / 975 ml air minum; P2 50 ml air rebusan daun pepaya jepang / 950 ml air minum; P3 75 ml air rebusan daun pepaya jepang / 925 ml air minum; dan P4 100 ml air rebusan daun pepaya jepang / 900 ml air minum. Parameter yang diamati meliputi konsumsi pakan, konsumsi air minum, pertambahan bobot badan, dan konversi pakan. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa penambahan air rebusan daun pepaya jepang ke dalam air minum berpengaruh signifikan (P<0,05) terhadap jumlah air minum yang dikonsumsi, namun tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi pakan, peningkatan bobot badan, dan konversi pakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa pemberian air rebusan daun pepaya jepang dengan 100 ml / 900 ml air minum mampu meningkatkan konsumsi air minum dan belum mampu memperbaiki konsumsi pakan, pertambahan bobot badan, dan konversi pakan ayam broiler.</p> <p> </p>2026-07-29T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
