Abstract
A research concerning on determination of the depth of groundwater by rocks resistivity in the village of Bena, District of South Amanuban South Central Timor. This research aims to determine the resistivity values and types of rocks in Bena village and determine the depth of groundwater in the village based on rock resistivity values. The method used is Geoelectric method with Schlumberger configuration. The data obtained in the field are apparent resistivity values. The apparent resistivity values obtained were processed by using software RES2DINV to obtain the actual value of the rock resistivity in the field.
The results of interpretation show the values of rock resistivity measured at 6 tracks ranging from (0.519–1698 Ωm). Based on the resistivity values obtained, allegedly there are 3 types of rocks in the field, consisting of clay with resistivity (0.519–9.75 Ωm), alluvium with resistivity (10.0–49.99 Ωm) and limestone with resistivity (50–1698 Ωm). Potentially as an aquifer rock is alluvium. Groundwater stored in alluvium is located at a depth of (19.9–34.6 meters).
