The type of research used is historical research. Informans in this research were determined using purposive sampling technique. The location of this research was in Kalabahi city, Teluk Mutiara Sub-district, Alor District. To obtain data in this research primary data sources and secondary data sources are needed. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and document study. The data analysis techniques used are heuristic, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this research show that: (1) The Seribu Moko Museum was founded in 2003 and inaugurated in 2004. The name “Seribu Moko”, describes abundance, variety and hope, while “Moko”, describes traditional objects that are used by almost everyone. Layers of Alor society. The Seribu Moko Museum is under the Alor Regency Regional Government, in this case under the Culture Service. In managing this museum, because it is part of the Regional Government, there is number of budgets specifically for museum management. The development of the Seribu Moko Museum has experienced quite a lot of development. The Seribu Moko (Ct)um is still trying to make developments in order to attract the interest of visitors so that they feel comfortable when looking for information about cultural objects in the museum. (2) Moko is cultural object made of bronze which is shaped like a closed cormorant. Some theories say that Moko comes from the Dongson Culture in North Vietnam, while the Aloe people themselves believe that Moko comes from the land. Moko, which is highly valued by the people of Alor, has various shapes and decorations and some symbolize certain tribes. In Sagu Village, Adonara District, East Flores Regency. The problems in this research are (1) What it the history of the arrival of the Butonese etnic group in Sagu Village on Adonara Island in 1894-1930. (2) What is the social, cultural and economic development of the Butonese ethnic group in Sagu Village. The technique for determining informants was carried out using <em>snowball sampling. </em>The data sources used were primary data sources, secondary data sources and document studiea. The research results showed that (1) During the regain of King Arkian Kamba in 1894-1930, the Butonese ethnic community began to settle because a family from the Buton Sultanate namaed Bapa Haji Lama Kida come ti propose to King Arkian Kamba first daughter Ema Siti Kadija. So they settled in Sago Village until now. (2) Initially, the Butonese people who came did now know about dowry in local terms called belis, in the form elephant ivory whch is common among the Lamaholot tribe, now&nbsp; the also use the dowry. The Butonese ethnic group entered Sago Village at that time not only to trade but they also strated to spread Islam. Dethan ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2024-07-25 2024-07-25 1 2 16 28 Tradisi Lisan Takanab Sebagai Wujud Identitas Masyarakat Dawan Di Desa Oelnaineno Kecamatan Takari Kabupaten Kupang https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/floresiensis/article/view/14694 <p>Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan Tradisi Lisan Takanab sebagai identitas masyarakat Dawan di Desa Oelnaineno Kecamatan Takari Kabupaten Kupang, untuk mengetahui makna , nilai dan fungsi Tradisi Lisan Takanab sebagai wujud identitas masyarakat dawan di Desa Oelnaineno Kecamatan Takari Kabupaten Kupang. Teknik penentuan informan dilakukan dengan cara snowball sampling. Sumberdata yang digunaan adalah primer data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancaea, observasi dan studi dokumen. teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa (1) peoses pelaksanaan tradisi lisan takanab di Desa Oelnainenodilakukan dengan melalui tahap (a) tahap persiapan keluarga meminta ijin atau mengundang majelis ( tokoh agama), iman ( tokoh adat)dan keluarga yang bersangkutan untuk melakukan tradisi lisan Takana. Kemudian keluarga mempersiapkan alat dan bahan yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pelaksanaan tradisi lisan takanab seperti: oko mama (tempat siri,beserta siri pinang ( puah nok manus), hewan (muit), uang (noni). (b) tahap pelaksanaan setelah bahan dipersiapkan waktu pelaksanaan ditentukan maka tradisi lisan Takana akan segera dilaksanakan dengan beberapa cara yaitu:percakapan antara tua adat dan orang tua yang bersangkutan selanjutnya di buka dengan Doa. (c) tahap terakhir tahap dimana semua pelaksanaan tradisi lisan takanab sudah dilaksanakan dan selanjutnya mereka akan makan besama. (2) maknaada juga simbol-simboldalamtradisitersebutyaitu: tempatsiri(okomama,hewan(muit)dan uang (noni)dan siri pinang (puahnok manus), nilai dan fungsi yang terkandung dalam tradisi Lisan Takanab.(a) makna makna yang terkandung dalam tradisi lisan takanb yaitu dimaknai dalam sebuah aktivitas ritual atau adat bagi masyarakat dawan dalam relasi dengan alam dan para leluhur.
