https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/fraktal/article/view/16253

Ethnomathematics is mathematics that grows and develops in the cultural activities of certain communities. This means that mathematics and culture are two things that are interrelated and cannot be separated in people's lives. This research aims to examine the integration of NTT traditional house ethnomathematics in mathematics learning and learning approaches that support learning. The research method used in this research is literature study. The 3 articles used were obtained from the Google Scholar database. The results of this research show that the ethnomathematics activities of NTT traditional houses can be integrated into mathematics learning and a realistic mathematics approach can have an impact in creating active learning that is centered on contextual problems in the environment around students.

Dionisius Asa BaliboIrna K. https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/fraktal/article/view/16980

This study is based on the low student learning outcomes in trigonometry material. This study aims to describe the improvement of learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Kota Kupang by applying the Problem Based Learning model on trigonometry material with the help of interactive power point. This research was conducted with research procedures based on the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model which consists of four research components, namely plan, act, observe, and reflect. The data collection techniques were observation and tests. The instruments used were teacher and student observation sheets and learning outcome test sheets. The results of this study showed that the classical student learning outcomes in cycle I were 63.33% which increased to 83.33% in cycle II. Meanwhile, the observation result of teacher activity while teaching in cycle I obtained a percentage of 93.1% seen to increase to 97,9% in cycle II and the observation result of student activity during the learning process in cycle I obtained a percentage of 86.8% increased to 95,8% in cycle II. Therefore, the application of problem-based learning model on trigonometry material with the help of interactive power point can improve the learning outcomes of students of class X SMA Negeri 3 kupang city.
Ivona Lydia MendesDamianus D.
This research is motivated by the implementation of differentiated learning as part of the implementation of the independent curriculum has not been implemented evenly at the educational level, one of which is at SMPN 18 Kota Kupang. In response to this, the researcher wanted to produce a differentiated learning design as part of the independent curriculum, especially on opportunity material. The method used by researchers is design research, which includes 3 stages, preparing for the experiments, the designs experiment and retrospective analysis. The data collection techniques used by researchers are tests (diagnostic and summative assessments), observations and interviews. Data analysis in this study used descriptive qualitative data obtained from observations and interviews, while quantitative data was obtained from the assessment results. This research produces differentiated learning design on chance material. The results showed that the learning design applied by the researcher was effective in helping students in improving student's understanding.
Ansgarius Arnoldi SudinChristine K. https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/fraktal/article/view/17062

Ayuasyari Narang Lobang

https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/fraktal/article/view/24616

The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the mathematical communication skills of junior high school students in relation and function material. The research subjects were 22 students of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru class. The type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection in the form of written tests and interviews. The written test was in the form of a description of 3 questions. Data analysis was done through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that students' overall mathematical communication skills were still low with an average of 23.48%. Students achieved indicator 1 (written text) by 28.41%, indicator 2 (drawing) by 35.23%, and indicator 3 (mathematical expressions) by 7.95%. Students' difficulties occurred when converting problem information into mathematical models, explaining the solution steps coherently, and using correct mathematical language. This was caused by limited prerequisite skills, low concept understanding, and poor writing skills.
Essy Puspita Rahim

https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/fraktal/article/view/17925

The connection between mathematics and culture is a strong foundation for enriching the mathematics learning process. Therefore, it is hoped that school mathematics learning activities can be better adapted to the cultural context of students so that mathematics can be more easily understood by students. One cultural context that can be used is the ethnomathematics of Songke Manggarai woven cloth. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive research method with an ethnographic approach. In this research, the instruments used were interviews and observations. Data collection techniques in this research consist of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is the interactive model from Miles & Huberman (1994), which states that the data collection stage consists of three activities that occur simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. Based on the results of this ethnomathematics exploration research, it can be concluded that there are mathematical concepts in the Songke Manggarai woven cloth of Golo Ronggot Village, both in the initial process and in the stages of the weaving process.
Timoteus Windy HepyWara Sabon DominikusAleksius Madu

https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/fraktal/article/view/19654

This research aims to develop mathematics learning media based on an Android application using I-Spring on two-variable linear equation systems material for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Rote Barat Laut that is valid, practical and effective. The method used in this research is the Research and Development method using the ADDIE model. The data collection techniques and instruments used were interviews, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The research results show that the learning media developed meets the eligibility criteria for learning media, namely valid, practical and effective. The average total validity by material and media experts was 4.41 in the "valid" category. The average total practicality of students in small classes is 4.615, the average total practicality of teachers in large classes is 4.67, and the average total practicality of students in large classes is 4.68 in the "practical" category. The percentage of student learning completeness in the small class trial was 100% with the "very effective" category and the large class trial was 75% with the "effective" category. Thus, the learning media developed is valid, practical and effective.

Lerianto Yacob Fanggi
