Abstract

The current development of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 focuses on digital technology. Startups use digital-based technological innovation to solve problems in society and are future-oriented. Kupang City still needs to catch up in developing digital technology due to the unavailability of supporting facilities to channel potential in the digital field. In addition to forming startups, startup acceleration or development is also needed. The purpose of designing a startup acceleration building is to accommodate the development or acceleration activities of startup actors targeting the creative generation in Kupang City. The design of the startup acceleration building uses a futuristic architectural approach that aligns with the startup's goal to present future-oriented innovations. The futuristic architecture is shown through pre-fabricated materials, not using star ornaments (less is more), simple formations but able to give a futuristic impression and harmonize humans with the environment. The application of futuristic architecture in buildings is shown in a simple but dynamic circular building formation to optimize the potential view around the building, applying an energy-saving system with the use of solar panels and even, the use of glass to eliminate the barrier between humans and nature. Switchable glass technology, delivery robots, capsule hotels, smart cafeterias, hoverboards, and segways. As well as a vehicle parking that uses an automatic parking system. The building also operates digitally to support the building as a startup acceleration place.
