Abstract

The school organizes education and becomes the main facility to support the teaching and learning process in a tiered and sustainable manner. Adventist Secondary Schools in Kupang Regency facilitate Junior High School (SMP), High School (SMA) and Vocational High School (SMK). Adventist Secondary School lacks infrastructure supporting education, and long-term planning in the education area will be carried out to develop facilities towards higher education. Based on these problems and issues, the design of the education area is carried out. The design of the education area aims to design educational facilities and the overall arrangement of the area. The design method uses a green architecture approach and green campus by maximizing the application of approaches to outdoor infrastructure and the main facilities of the area in the form of the design of a safe, comfortable, healthy and humane circulation system, more effective water and electricity utilization system, waste treatment system, the greening of campus forests, design of environmentally friendly transportation systems, utilization of natural energy sources in buildings and the incorporation of proprietary spaces similar functions in order to create more effective and efficient areas. The results of the design of the area include the design of the outdoor space as a whole, the design of educational facilities in the form of school buildings, universities and auditoriums, the design of supporting facilities in the form of dormitories and churches and the design of service buildings by maximizing the application of green architecture approaches and green campuses to regional infrastructure facilities.
