Abstract

Pos Bloc Medan as a new tourist destination that emphasizes historical value, creative economy, and social function has significant potential to attract tourist visits. However, the main challenge lies in optimizing spatial planning and accessibility in this area. This study aims to examine the relationship between spatial planning and accessibility in increasing the tourist appeal of Pos Bloc. The methods used include surveys and analysis of visitor perceptions of the available spatial planning and accessibility. The results of the study show that well-structured spatial design and adequate facilities not only improve the visitor experience but also create an inclusive environment for all groups, including people with disabilities. The proposed strategic steps include spatial planning that maintains historical value, creating access routes for disabled users, and collaborating with various parties for program implementation. By implementing these recommendations, Pos Bloc Medan has the potential to develop into a more attractive and efficient tourist destination, providing a positive impact on the local community and the economic sector.
