Abstract

Banten is an area rich in geological structures but does not yet have a special building in the form of a geological museum as a center for research, education and inventory. Moreover, this area is closely related to the eruption of Mount Krakatau which was very powerful and could be felt by almost all parts of the world in 1883. As a building that is quite close to the environment, this museum also uses a green architectural concept that has high energy efficiency value and is good for user health. building. These green architectural principles are in an effort to maintain stability between the building and the environment which is applied to building materials and utilities. The result of the design of this museum is a mass of buildings in the form of concentric radial, radial circulation, secondary skin with forage, green roof, reuse of rainwater and dirty water for user and building activities, and others.
