Perancangan Museum Sejarah Pengasingan Soekarno di Kabupaten Ende dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Ikonik

Abstract

Ende has the potential as a historical city of Soekarno's exile which produced Pancasila as the basis of the state, so that there are several historical sites in Ende City which are visited by the public in an effort to find out the story of exile. However, the museum house, which is one of the most visited sites, cannot represent the overall story, and some sites are unknown to the public and difficult to find. So to meet the needs related to historical stories, several facilities are provided through the design of a museum that can accommodate each site.method is used glass box with an iconic architectural approach as a reference in design, iconic architecture is an architectural work that marks a certain place or time. The design of the museum with this iconic architectural approach resulted in a more prominent and attractive building, as well as a unique design that has links to Pancasila and the city of Ende, so that the existence of a museum can be a sign of Ende as Soekarno's exile. In addition, the rooms in the museum are designed to follow the storyline of exile so that visitors can find every site, both existing and extinct, and visitors can follow and interpret the storyline of exile in the past which isset in the exhibition halls.
