Abstract

The role of color is vital in supporting the customer's atmosphere. Color is one of the essential interior elements that affect the atmosphere of each user, and color is also something that can be considered in creating the atmosphere of the interior space to support each room's needs. The color aspect can also give the impression of comfort and neatness, such as colors that are too dense or crowded, giving a dirty impression. In the world of design, many elements are essential for designing. Color is the first aspect seen in making a concept because a color that does not match will give the impression of an inappropriate design. So the color itself is the most critical element that must be appropriately applied to achieve the right color. This study aimed to determine the role of color in the cafe's atmosphere and each user in the cafe. The method used is qualitative in the form of site documentation and narratives from various sources as the first step for design. Moreover, the data obtained will help to find out how much colour influences the cafe's atmosphere. This is very important because as a basis for developing information for the design, it is accompanied by some information such as working drawings and some spatial perspectives to clarify the purpose of what will be designed and delivered.
