The location of this research was determined by considering that the waters in Kupang Regency, especially Tarus Village (Manikin Beach). The treatments tested were the provision of different types of feed, Treatment A: Feeding snails, Treatment B: Feeding mangrove shells, Treatment C: Feeding trash fish (tembang fish), Treatment D: Feeding chicken stomachs. The parameters measured in this study were absolute weight, daily weight and survival. Based on the research and research results the provision of different feeds significantly affected growth, both weight, but did not affect survival and the best feed for growth was shown in treatment A with the use of snail feed which resulted in absolute weight growth of 29.00 g, daily growth of 0.48 g% / h. While for survival reached 100% all treatments.
Marini Cladita Klau, Yulianus Linggi, Asriati Djonu ##submission.copyrightStatement## undana.ac.id https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/jaqu/article/view/21152 Mon, 31 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 PERBANDINGAN TUBIFEX SP DAN CHIRONOMUS SP DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP PENINGKATAN WARNA IKAN KOMET (Carassius auratus) COMPARISON OF TUBIFEX SP AND CHIRONOMUS SP ON INCREASING THE COLOR OF COMET FISH (Carassius auratus) https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/jaqu/article/view/21153
A 30-day nutritional experiment was conducted at the Aquaculture Research Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. The study employed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three experimental diets: (A) exclusive Tubifex sp. meal, (B) equal combination of Tubifex sp. and Chironomus sp. meals (1:1 ratio), and (C) exclusive Chironomus sp. meal, each replicated three times. Key performance indicators including skin pigmentation intensity, body weight gain, and linear growth were measured in goldfish (Carassius auratus). Statistical analysis revealed significant dietary effects (p<0.05) on all measured parameters. The blended diet (Treatment B) demonstrated superior efficacy, producing both the most vibrant coloration and maximal growth metrics among test groups. These findings suggest that balanced inclusion of both worm meals synergistically enhances ornamental quality and growth performance in this commercially valuable fish species.

Keywords: Chironomus sp, C. auratus, Tubifex sp.
Victoria Natalis, Ade Yulita Hesti Lukas, Asriati Djonu ##submission.copyrightStatement## undana.ac.id https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/jaqu/article/view/21153 Mon, 31 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 PERBANDINGAN PERTUMBUHAN KERANG DARAH (Anadara granosa) DI PERAIRAN MOTADIKIN DAN KLETEK KABUPATEN MALAKA https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/jaqu/article/view/21513
The research was carried out for 3 months starting from April to July 2024, at two different locations, namely Motadikin waters and Kletek waters, Central Malaka District, Malacca Regency. Comparison of the growth and survival of blood cockles can be seen that the highest growth in absolute weight and absolute length is found in Kletek waters and the lowest in Motadikin waters.
Maria Frumensia Helmayati Anar, Priyo Santoso, Yudiana Jasmanindar ##submission.copyrightStatement## undana.ac.id https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/jaqu/article/view/21513 Sat, 01 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 PEMBERIAN BEKICOT (Achatina fulica) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN IKAN KAKAP PUTIH (Lates calcarifer) https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/jaqu/article/view/21514
This research was carried out at BBIP Tablolong, Kupang Regency for 60 days. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of feeding snails (Achatina fulica) on the growth of white snapper (Lates calcarifer). The design used was RAL with 4 treatments and 3 repetitions, namely (A) f999 pellets 5% of the biomass weight (control), (B) snails 5% of the biomass weight, (C) snails 10% of the biomass weight, (D) snails 15% of the biomass weight. The parameters measured in this study are Absolute Weight Growth, SGR, SR, FCR, Feed Efficiency. The research results prove that treatment (B) Snails 5% of biomass weight is the best dose for the growth of white snapper with an absolute weight growth rate of 8.3 g, SGR reaching 0.048%g/day, SR of white snapper 90%, FCR 1.36 g, and feed efficiency value reaching 73.44%.

Keywords: Snail, sea bass, growth
Marlen Brilian Riwu Nadju, Marcelien Dj Ratoe Oedjoe, Franchy Ch Liufeto ##submission.copyrightStatement## undana.ac.id https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/jaqu/article/view/21514 Sat, 01 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000
