As an emerging destination opened in 2026, this tourism site offers coastal scenery, coral cliffs, ocean waves, gazebos, wooden photo spots, swings, parking areas, and a local ticketing system with an entrance fee of IDR 5,000 per visitor. However, its development still faces several challenges, particularly related to unpaved and rocky access roads, limited supporting facilities, and the need for community-based tourism management. This study aims to analyze the tourism potential and development strategy of Tanah Rubuh Beach as a new coastal destination. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with field observation, interviews, documentation, and 4A tourism component analysis, namely attraction, accessibility, amenity, and ancillary services. The results indicate that Tanah Rubuh Beach has strong natural attractions, especially coastal scenery, coral-based landscape, and photo-oriented tourism spaces. Accessibility is relatively strategic because the site is located approximately 200 meters from the main inter-district road, although the internal road still requires improvement. Amenities have started to develop through ticket booths, parking areas, gazebos, swings, and wooden seating areas, but they remain limited in terms of safety, sanitation, and visitor management. The ancillary aspect requires strengthening through institutional support, local community participation, promotion, and coastal risk-sensitive planning. This study recommends that Tanah Rubuh Beach be developed through a community-based and sustainable coastal tourism approach.
2026-06-16T12:54:03+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/jgeo/article/view/26723PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT TERDAMPAK BENCANA TERHADAP OPERASI PENCARIAN DAN PERTOLONGAN GEMPA BUMI KELURAHAN CIPAMEUNGPEUK RT.01/RW.03 KECAMATAN SUMEDANG SELATAN2026-08-02T23:58:48+00:00Sahrul Hidayatsahrul020805@gmail.comIlham Badaruddin Mataburuilham-mataburu@unj.ac.idOde Sofyan Hardiode-sofyan-hardi@unj.ac.id
This study aims to determine the perceptions of earthquake-affected communities regarding search and rescue operations during the Sumedang earthquake emergency, West Java. This study aims to analyze fertility policy in Indonesia from a political geography perspective, particularly in relation to the demographic bonus and inequality between regions. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review and documentation collection. The research findings indicate that fertility policy focuses not only on regulating birth rates but also on improving population quality and regional development. Currently, Indonesia is experiencing a demographic bonus phase that offers opportunities for economic growth through the dominance of the productive-age population. However, exploiting this opportunity still faces various challenges such as unemployment, educational inequality, and limited access to reproductive health services. Furthermore, there are differences in fertility rates across regions, with urban areas having lower fertility rates compared to peripheral areas such as Papua and East Nusa Tenggara. Therefore, a population policy that is equitable and appropriate to the characteristics of each region is needed to ensure that the demographic bonus can be managed most effectively and sustainably.
2026-06-21T03:13:14+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/jgeo/article/view/28271PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) DENGAN MEMANFAATKAN LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH SEBAGAI LINGKUNGAN BELAJAR TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK DI SMAN 12 KUPANG2026-08-02T23:58:48+00:00Maria Ingrawati Amolingritamol20@gmail.comAgustinus Hale Manekagustinus.hale.manek@staf.undana.ac.idMikael Saminmikael.samin@staf.undana.ac.id
Modern education requires students to possess critical thinking skills to respond to social and environmental challenges. This study aims to analyze the distribution pattern of Child Social Welfare Institutions (LKSA) in Makassar City using spatial analysis on ArcGIS software tools in the Average Nearest Neighbor tool. The method used in the study is descriptive quantitative with a spatial approach. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Geospatial Information Agency and One Data Indonesia Makassar City for 2023-2024 related to LKSA data and verified through field observation to ensure the location of the LKSA is in accordance with the location in the field. The results of the analysis showed that the distribution of LKSA in Makassar City tended to be clustered with a Nearest Neighbor Ratio (NNR) value of 0.766, Z-Score -4.22, and a p-value of 0.000024. This inequality is influenced by several factors such as social dynamics, accessibility and economy. These findings indicate that there is an uneven distribution of LKSA that needs to be considered by the government and the community. The recommendation in this study is to emphasize the need to equitably distribute LKSA in several sub-districts that do not yet exist and still lack LKSA to ensure the fulfillment of the rights, welfare, and safety of children who need social protection.
2026-06-22T02:32:32+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/jgeo/article/view/26571STUDI FENOMENOLOGI FAKTOR PEMICU SERTA DAMPAK KEBAKARAN HUTAN DAN LAHAN DI KELURAHAN TELAWANG KECAMATAN BANJARMASIN BARAT KALIMANTAN SELATAN2026-08-02T23:58:48+00:00Lailatus Isti Anah2310416220028@mhs.ulm.ac.idRosalina Kumalawatirosalina.kumalawati@ulm.ac.id
Forest and land fires are a recurring environmental disaster in South Kalimantan that threaten ecosystems and community well-being. Sukasari District was selected due to its urban characteristics with relatively high population density and mobility, making the need for health services critical. The study employed a quantitative method with a GIS-based spatial approach, supported by questionnaire distribution to 47 respondents. Analysis was conducted on aspects of distance, travel time, road conditions, transportation availability, and the distribution of health facilities. Results indicate that the majority of respondents considered health facilities in their area to be well-distributed and sufficiently accessible. Most respondents stated that the nearest health facility is less than 2 km away with a travel time of less than 15 minutes. Road conditions and transportation availability were also rated as adequately supportive of community access to health services. Nevertheless, some areas were found to have unequal access quality, particularly regarding infrastructure and transportation conditions. Cost factors also remained a consideration for some community members in utilizing health services. Overall, this study demonstrates that the level of accessibility to health facilities in Sukasari District is relatively good, though equalization of access quality, infrastructure improvement, and affordability of health services still need attention to ensure equitable access for all residents.
2026-06-30T03:39:40+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejurnal.undana.ac.id/index.php/jgeo/article/view/28571TATA RUANG DAN AMBISI PEMEKARAN KABUPATEN INDRAMAYU: TINJAUAN HIERARKI CHRISTALLER2026-08-02T23:58:48+00:00Anth Meylisa Hardadiameylisaa@student.upi.eduAdia Alilatulbarizaadiaalilatulbariza@student.upi.eduAyu Nuraeniayunuraeni049@student.upi.eduSelsya Nesha Beiher Lumentutselsyanesha.upi.edu@student.upi.eduSri Auliasriaulia0902@student.upi.edu
This research evaluates the ineffectiveness of the spatial hierarchy in Indramayu Regency, which triggers development disparities between the central and western regions. Applying Walter Christaller's Central Place Theory, this qualitative descriptive study examines the rationality behind the demand for the establishment of the West Indramayu New Autonomous Region (DOB). Data were gathered through field observations, in-depth interviews, and secondary sources, and then analyzed using the Central Place Theory and the evaluation of regional expansion feasibility parameters. The findings indicate a functional failure in the maximum range of the parent city's service center; residents in the western region must travel 70 km (taking 1.5–3 hours) to access high-order services. This spatial barrier triggers a leakage in public mobility orientation toward Subang Regency. Theoretically, the proposed West Indramayu New Autonomous Region has exceeded the required threshold, supported by a demographic base of over 700,000 inhabitants and a high centrality index in Kroya District as the prospective capital. This study concludes that regional expansion in West Indramayu is not merely a political commodity, but rather a logical spatial necessity.
2026-07-08T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
