Pemanfaatan Teknologi sebagai Media Pembelajaran pada Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin
Abstract
This study aims to describe the utilization of technology as a learning medium in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving lecturers and students. The results show that the use of technology-based learning media, such as instructional videos, presentation software, and digital learning platforms, supports the learning process by increasing student engagement and facilitating understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, especially in practical courses. Technology also assists lecturers in delivering learning materials more systematically and efficiently. However, limitations such as infrastructure readiness and varying levels of digital literacy were identified. Overall, technology plays an important role as a learning medium in mechanical engineering education and needs to be optimized to support learning objectives.
