Print Format for LONTAR Jurnal Teknik Mesin Undana
- Title written in upper and lower case letters, 12 point Bold Centered
- Names of authors, in full, without title, without position, Name of author's affiliation (10 point centered)
- Mailing Address, Affiliate Address. City, Postal Code, : (city code) telephone number, Fax: (city code) fax number, E-mail: e-mail@address (10 point centered)
- Papers can be written in Indonesian or English. The number of pages does not exceed 12 sheets in A4 format - single-sided papers. The title page should include the specific title, author and abstract of approximately 200 words at the beginning of the paper. Affiliation, address, telephone and fax number or e-mail address must be provided under the author's name. The abstract must contain the research objectives, research methods, and research results. For papers in B. Indonesian, the abstract must be written in B. Indonesian and B. English. Register up to 5 keywords.
- This document was written as a guideline for the final format of LONTAR Journal of Mechanical Engineering (LJTM) articles with Normal size being 10 points, two single-spaced columns. This document file (which is equipped with its Format Style) can be downloaded on the website
- Article revisions will only be accepted in MS-Word™ file form (softcopy), following the Printed Format (this document), no later than 10 (ten) working days after the revision notification letter.
- As a condition for publishing articles, authors must provide payment of the minimum subscription fee for one year. The author will receive a loose print of 5 (five) hardcopies of the article or a softcopy file, in addition to a number of journals that have been paid for.
- Test-print editing (camera ready / preprint) is carried out with / without involving the author. The load can still be canceled if it is found to be problematic. The editor is not obliged to return articles that are not published. Confirmation of loading/rejection/revision is done in writing.
- Everything related to licensing of quotations, use of computer software, originality of articles or other matters related to IPR, carried out by the author of the article and the legal consequences that may arise as a result, is the full responsibility of the author of the article.
- Articles are written on A4 paper, two columns, Times New Roman font size 10, single spaced, not exceeding 12 lines (margins) top/bottom/left/right sequentially: 4.5 / 4.0 / 3.4 / 3, 4 cm. Between paragraphs, give a first line indent of 0.8 cm without double spacing.
- Unnumbered headings with a maximum of three sub-heading ranks:
- The main body of the research article contains: (1) introduction (contains background, a brief literature review, and research objectives); (2) Method; (3) Results and Discussion; and (4) Conclusion. Meanwhile, critical analytical study articles include: (1) introduction (containing background and objectives or scope); (2) Main Discussion (divided into several subsections); (3) Closing or Conclusion.
- Tables and figures must be captioned (title/description) with consecutive numbering. The table caption is placed at the top, while the image is at the bottom. Tables and figures are made so that the size is not too small. The equation is written in the center accompanied by sequential numbering placed to the right. If the equation is too long, use splitting.
- Try to use two-color (black-and-white) images, and eliminate image borders, and (alternatively) collect images and tables at the end of the article.
- Each footnote is placed under the column on the page where the footnote explains, marked with 1) (number and brackets).
- Library references are indicated by writing the reference number like this [1]. Bibliography, limited to the sources referred to, arranged in order of appearance of references. Prioritize the most up-to-date literature (published in the last 10 years), and that comes from primary sources (research reports, articles in scientific journals/magazines)
