ANALISIS PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI INDONESIA PADA MASA COVID-19 : ADAM SMITH

Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan gambaran sebenarnya dari kehidupan suatu negara. Tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi akan menentukan kemakmuran suatu negara, sehingga kondisi ini perlu mendapat perhatian khusus. Berdasarkan hal tersebut peneliti tertarik untuk melihat pengaruh faktor pertumbuhan ekonomi menurut Adam Smith, dimana faktor tersebut adalah akumulasi modal, pertumbuhan ekonomi penduduk di negara Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode explanatory survey dan metode kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder akumulasi modal (investasi) dan jumlah penduduk (penduduk) di Indonesia dari tahun 2006 sampai dengan tahun 2020. Sebelum data diproses perlu dilaksanakan syarat regresi berganda yakni asumsi klasik (telah dinyatakan lolos asumsi klasik) sehingga penelitian ini dapat dilanjutkan pada tahapan analisis regresi berganda (dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 21) untuk melihat dampak akumulasi modal (investasi baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri), populasi (populasi) pada pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia, sebagian dan bersamaan. Dari penelitian ini, telah diperoleh bahwa akumulasi modal (investasi) memiliki dampak negatif (-0,001) dan berpengaruh secara signifikan, sedangkan populasi (populasi) memiliki dampak positif (0,097) dan bermakna untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi
