Abstract

The research is entitled Analysis of Quality Control of UD Karunia Tofu products in Aesesa District. The purpose of this study was to identify and explain the quality control of tofu products at UD. Karunia and to identify and explain the factors causing product defects at UD. Karunia. The research approach used is qualitative research. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The analytical methods used is this study are Pareto diagrams and Causal and Effect diagrams. Pareto diagrams is used to discuss the dominant level of damage from the type of damage that occurs to tofu product while the Cause and Effect diagrams is used to analyze the factors that cause the damage that occurs to the tofu product and continued with the proposed corrective action to minimize tofu product defects at UD. Karunia in Aesesa District. The results of this study indicate that the quality control of UD. Karunia tofu products is still uncontrolled. The criteria or product quality specifications are based on three types of defects, including the texture of 65 boards (37,79), color 59 boards (34,3), and broken ends of 48 boards (27,9). From the results of this study, the factors that cause disability are humans, machines and equipment, raw materials and work methods. Therefore, it is necessary to propose corrective actions and recommendations by conducting reguler labor supervision, selecting truly skilled workers and providing training to employees
