Abstract

This study aims to a) Know and explain the descriptive responses of employees about work discipline, employee involvement and employee performance at the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) of Lembata Regency. b) Test and explain the effect of work discipline on employee performance at the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) of Lembata Regency. c) Test and explain the effect of employee involvement on employee performance at the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) of Lembata Regency. d) Test and explain the effect of work discipline and employee involvement on employee performance at the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) of Lembata Regency. The sample of this study was employees of PDAM Lembata Regency. The sample was taken as many as 40 respondents using the slovin formula. The analysis techniques used were Quantitative Descriptive Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis. Based on the results of descriptive analysis shows employee perceptions of Work Discipline in the very good category and employee involvement and employee performance in the very good category. When viewed from the magnitude of the score, the employee performance variable has a value of 4.32. Based on statistical data analysis, the results of the t-test show that both independent variables partially have a significant effect on the dependent variable. The results of the F test show that simultaneously the independent variables have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable. The R Square figure is 0.627 or 62.7%. This means that the employee performance variable is influenced by the Work Discipline variable and the employee involvement variable in the regression equation, while the remaining 37.3% is explained by variables outside the variables discussed in this study. And for further researchers it is expected to be able to add other variables  such as motivation, commitment, compensation, organizational culture, and work environment. It is hoped that the results of this research can be input for PDAM Lembata Regency to maintain and improve employee performance, work discipline and employee involvement.
