PENGARUH DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT. ANEKA NIAGA
Abstract
This research is entitled The Effect of Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT. Aneka Niaga, the problem in this study is how employees perceive work discipline and employee performance at PT. Aneka Niaga and whether work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Miscellaneous Businesses. This study aims to describe employees' perceptions of work discipline and employee performance at PT. Aneka Niaga and to find out the influence of work discipline on employee performance at PT. Miscellaneous Businesses. The sample used in this study was 73 respondents or all employees at PT. Miscellaneous Businesses. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and simple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 21 application. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that work discipline was in the very high category (88.14) and employee performance was in the very high category (86.93). The results of simple linear regression analysis showed that the results of the test (t) of the discipline variable (X) were calculated at 9.949 while the significant value of 0.000 was smaller than the alpha level used, which was 0.05 (5%). Based on the results of test (t), the work discipline variable partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Based on R square, the contribution of the influence of work discipline variables on employee performance was 58.2% while 41.8% was influenced by other variables outside the focus of this study. Therefore, researchers can then further research other variables that affect other variables. From the results of the analysis, PT. Aneka Niaga is expected to maintain employee work discipline so that employee performance does not decrease.
