Abstract

This study aims to ( 1 ) To find out and explain the work environment and employee performance at the Indonesian Post Office Kupang Branch ( Persero ). ( 2 ) To find out whether there is a significant influence between work environment on employee performance at the Indonesian Post Office Kupang Branch ( Persero ). And the benefit of this research is the creation of knowledge about the work environment on employee performance and is useful for further research. To achieve this goal, a sample of 50 respondents was selected at the Indonesian Post Office Kupang Branch (Persero). Data was collected by using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis
technique used is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression using SPSS 26 application. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the work environment is in the very good category (4,61) and the employee performance is in the very good category (4,38) The results of the regression analysis show that the results of the t-test of the work environment variable (X) tcount of 9.216, while the Label is 2.787, then the results are tcount (9.216) > table (2.787) received. Based on R square shows the contribution of work environment variables to employee performance is 63.9 %. Meanwhile 36.1% is influenced by other variables outside the focus of this research. From the results of the analysis, the Indonesian Post Office Kupang Branch (Persero), expected to always maintain and improve the work
environment so that employee performance can be carried out efficiently and effectively.
