PENGAWASAN KUALITAS PROSES PRODUKSI MEUBEL (KURSI DAN MEJA SEKOLAH)

Abstract

This research was conducted at CV Crescendo and Furniture Aries in Kupang City. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the quality control of the production process carried out, and to identify and analyze the factors causing defective products in the production of school chairs and tables. This is a quantitative and qualitative research. The results show that it has not been consistent in carrying out supervision the quality of the production process, starting from input (paying attention to raw materials used), processes (monitoring production activities) and outputs so that Product defects can be minimized or even eliminated. Even though stillthere are school chairs and school desks that are damaged due to workmanship errors made by workers and also in terms of the use of raw materials for GV Crescendo and Aries furniture, they should always pay attention to the slection of raw materials and auxiliary materials that will be used so that the level of product defects decreases. Companies must continue to pay attention to factors that can hinder the supply of raw materials and production processes and find the right way so that the obstacles that occur can be overcome properly. The role of supervision is very important to be applied within the company to obtain product quality that is unaccordance with standards, also so that the products sold are in accordance with the quality needed by the community.
