Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of quality control of brick products using statistical tools in the form of inspection sheets, p control charts and causal diagrams. Examination sheets are used to present data to make it easier to understand the data for further analysis purposes. P control chart is used to monitor the defective product whether it is still under statistical control or not. Then look for the factors that cause product damage using a causal diagram and then a recommendation or proposal for quality improvement can be drawn up. The results of the p control chart analysis show that the process is still within the control limit. This can be seen in the control chart where the point moves around the center line but does not cross the upper control limit and lower control limit. From the analysis of the causal diagram, it can be seen that the factors causing the damage come from humans/workers, production machines and work methods, so that preventive and corrective actions can be taken to reduce the level of product damage.
