Abstract

This study aims to identify the Input and Output management of broiler chicken farming businesses and analyze the financial feasibility of broiler chicken farming businesses in Boawae District, Nagekeo Regency. This study uses a census method, the types of data used in the study are qualitative and quantitative data sourced from primary and secondary data. The data analysis method used is Input and Output management and financial feasibility analysis using the criteria of R/C ratio, B/C ratio, break even point (BEP). Input management consisting of fixed inputs and variable inputs. The fixed input of partner farmers is Rp8,934,824 while independent farmers are smaller at Rp3,122,933/year, variable input of partner farmers is Rp68,271,353/period and independent farmers are smaller at Rp28,826,400/period. The output is ready-to-sell broiler chickens weighing 2.2 kg. The feasibility of the broiler chicken business is stated to be feasible based on the R/C ratio of partner farmers, which is 1.87, while independent farmers are 2.3. The B/C ratio of partner farmers is 0.87, while independent farmers are 1.3. BEP (Rp) partner farmers are Rp. 15,587,728, while independent farmers are Rp. 5,144,427. BEP production of partner farmers is 282 chickens, while independent farmers are 73 chickens.
