Nilai Ekonomi Pemberian Tepung Limbah Kubis (Brassica oleracea) Terfermentasi terhadap Babi Landrace Fase Starter
Economic Values Of Feeding Fermented Cabbage (Brassica oleracea) Waste Flour to Landrace Cross Breed Pigs in the Starter Phase
Abstract
A study on starter phase of landrace cross breed pigs was conducted to determine the economic value of fermented cabbage (Brassica oleracea) waste flour. The material used was 12 landrace cross breed pigs in the starter phase with and age range of 1-2 months and a body weight of 9-15 kg (KV=15%). This study used a Randomized Block Design with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were R0: 100% basal ration, R1: 95% basal ration + 5% fermented cabbage waste flour, R2: 90% basal ration + 10% fermented cabbage waste flour, R3: 85% basal ration + 15% fermented cabbage waste flour. The parameters measured were income over feed cost (IOFC), income, economic efficiency of feed (EEF) use and operational economic efficiency (OEE). The results showed that the R3 treatment produced the highest IOFC and income, which were IDR1,702,582 and IDR1,063,846, respectively. However, for EEF and OEE parameters, the treatment with the best efficiency was R2 treatment with and EEF value of 0.30 and on OEE value of 0.37. the results of anova showed that the treatment had no significant effect (P>0.05) on all parameters measured. Thus it can be concluded that the substitution is profitable and efficient and a substitution of 10% is recommended.
Suatu penelitian ternak babi landrace fase starter dilakukan untuk mengetahui nilai ekonomi dari pemberian tepung limbah kubis (Brassica oleracea) terfermentasi. Materi yang digunakan adalah 12 ekor babi peranakan landrace fase starter dengan kisaran umur 1-2 bulan dan berat badan 9-15 kg (KV=15%). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah R0: 100% ransum basal, R1: 95% ransum basal + 5% tepung limbah kubis terfermentasi, R2: 90% ransum basal + 10% tepung limbah kubis terfermentasi, R3: 85% ransum basal + 15% tepung limbah kubis terfermentasi. Parameter yang diukur yaitu income over feed cost (IOFC), Pendapatan, efisiensi ekonomi penggunaan pakan (EEPP), dan efisiensi ekonomi operasional (EEO). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan R3 menghasilkan IOFC dan pendapatan tertinggi yaitu berturut-turut Rp1.702.582 dan Rp1.063.846. Namun untuk parameter EEPP dan EEO, perlakuan dengan efisiensi terbaik adalah perlakuan R2 dengan nilai EEPP sebesar 0.30 dan EEO sebesar 0.37. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0.05) pada semua parameter yang diukur. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa substitusi tersebut menguntungkan, efisien dan direkomendasikan substitusi sebesar 10%.
