Abstract

This study at to determine the effect of the use of local microorganism levels on fiber components in
cow content rumen silage. The method used in this study is an experimental method using a
completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replications with a treatment
arrangement, P0: 60% cow rumen content + 35% rice bran + 5% sugar. P1: P0 + 40 ml MOL. P2: P0 +
80 ml MOL. P3: P0 + 120 ml MOL. The variables measured were the content of NDF, ADF, cellulose,
hemicellulose and lignin. Data were analyzed by Analysis of Variance (Anova) and continued with
Duncan's multiple distance test using SPSS 25 statistical application. The results showed that the use
of various levels of local microorganisms had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the content of NDF,
ADF, cellulose, and significantly (P<0.05) on the lignin content, but had no significant effect (P>0.05)
to the hemicellulose content. It was concluded that the use of local microorganisms affected the fiber
component of cow rumen content silage and the use of a level of 40 ml of local microorganisms was
the best level shown.

Maksud dari penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan level mikroorganisme lokal terhadap
komponen serat silase isi rumen sapi. Menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4
kelompok dan 4 ulangan dengan susunan perlakuan, P0: 60% isi rumen sapi + 35% dedak padi + 5%
gula. P1: P0 + 40 ml MOL. P2: P0 + 80 ml MOL. P3: P0 + 120 ml MOL. Variabel yang diukur yaitu
kandungan NDF, ADF, selulosa, hemiselulosa dan lignin. Analisis statistik mendapatkan perlakuan
berpengaruh sangat signifikan (P<0,01) pada kandungan NDF, ADF, selulosa, dan berpengaruh
signifikan (P<0,05) pada kandungan lignin, tetapi tidak berpengaruh signifikan (P>0,05) pada
kandungan hemiselulosa. Hasil yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan mikroorganisme lokal
mempengaruhi komponen serat silase isi rumen sapi dan penggunaan level 40 ml mikroorganisme
lokal merupakan level terbaik yang ditampilkan.
