Abstract
This study aims to examine the impact of supplementing kume grass straw (Sorghum plumosum var. Timorense) with various doses of Asu bean (Pueraria phasoloides) on the blood profile of kacang goats. The experiment used four (4) kacang goats (CV: 11.48%), aged between 6 and 8 months with an average weight of 14.37 kg. The experimental method with Latin Square Design (RBSL) design used with four treatments and four replications. The treatments used were kume grass straw and concentrate (P0), P0+10% chickpeas (P10), P0+20% chickpeas (P20) and P0+30% chickpeas (P30). Variables measured were Packed cell volume (PCV), hemoglobin concentration, white blood cell count, and erythrocyte count.The results of statistical analysis showed that the treatment given had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the variables tested. It was concluded that supplementation of asu beans in concentrate feed did not affect the levels of erythrocytes, leukocytes, hemoglobin and hematocrit in bean goats.
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji dampak suplementasi jerami rumput kume (Sorghum plumosum var. Timorense) dengan berbagai dosis kacang asu (Pueraria phasoloides) terhadap profil darah kambing kacang. Penelitian menggunakan empat (4) ekor kambing kacang (KV: 11,48%), umur antara 6 dan 8 bulan dengan dengan rataan bobot badan awal 14,37 kg. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin (RBSL) dengan empat perlakuan dan empat ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan rumput kume dan konsentrat (P0), P0+10% kacang asu (P10), P0+20% kacang asu (P20) dan P0+30% kacang asu (P30). Variabel yang dikaji meliputi packed cell volume (PCV), konsentrasi hemoglobin, jumlah sel darah putih, dan jumlah eritrosit. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan yang diberikan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap variabel yang diuji. Disimpulkan bahwa bahwa suplementasi kacang asu dalam pakan konsentrat tidak mempengaruhi kadar eritrosit, leukosit, hemoglobin dan hemotokrit ternak kambing kacang.
