Pengaruh Lemak Telo Dan Dedak Padi Terhadap Konsumsi Nitrogen, Retensi Nitrogen Dan Nilai Biologis Ransum Ternak Kambing Kacang
The Use of Rice Bran-Beef Tallow (Dak-Low) in Rations on Nitrogen Consumption, Nitrogen Retention, and Biological Value of Goat Feed
Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the use of rice bran mixed with beef tallow (daklow) on nitrogen consumption, nitrogen retention, and biological value of goat feed. Four male goats aged 11-12 months with an average body weight of 17 kg were used as experimental animals. The study used a Latin Square Design (LSD) with 4 treatments and 4 periods as replicates. The ratio of rice bran and beef tallow was 60:40. The treatments given were P0 = Forage + Concentrate (without daklow), P1 = Forage + Concentrate with 10% daklow, P2 = Forage + Concentrate with 15% daklow, P3 = Forage + Concentrate with 20% daklow. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. The results showed that the use of daklow in the ration significantly (P<0.05) affected nitrogen consumption, while nitrogen retention and the biological value of the ration were not significantly affected (P>0.05). It was concluded that the use of daklow at a level of 20% in the ration could be used in the ration for goat farming.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memastikan efek lemak telo dam dedak padi yang dicampur terhadap Konsumsi Nitrogen, Retensi Nitrogen, dan Nilai Biologis ransum ternak kambing kacang. Biota uji yang digunakan ialah ternak kambing kacang jantan berusia 11-12 bulan sebanyak 4 ekor dengan rata-rata berat tubuh 17 kg. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin (RBSL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 periode sebagai ulangan. Imbangan dedak padi dan lemak telo adalah 60:40. Perlakuan yang diberikan ialah P0 = Hijauan + Konsentrat (tanpa daklow), P1 = Hijauan + Konsentrat dengan 10% daklow, P2 = Hijauan + Konsentrat dengan 15% daklow, P3 = Hijauan + Konsentrat dengan 20% daklow. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA, kemudia bila berpengaruh nyata, maka diuji jarak Duncan. Hasil ANOVA menunjukkan penggunaan daklow dalam ransum nyata (P<0.05) mempengaruhi Konsumsi Nitrogen sedangkan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0.05) terhadap Retensi Nitrogen dan Nilai Biologis ternak kambing. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan daklow dengan level 20% dalam ransum dapat dipakai dalam konsentrat pada ransum ternak kambing.
