Abstract
Research has been conducted on the effect of the addition of charcoal, dolomite lime and aeration process on changes in water pH with a passive solar distillation system. The results showed that in the basin with the treatment of charcoal alone the results of pH changes were as follows: 7.3 on the first day, 7.2 on the second day and 7.1 on the third day. for basins with dolomite lime the results of changes in the final pH of the water are as follows: 7.5 on the first day, 7 on the second day and 7.3 on the third day. In basins with aeration process treatment, the results of changes in the final pH of the water are as follows: 7.6 on the first day, 6.9 on the second day and 7 on the third day. While the results of the final pH change for basins with a combination of both treatments are as follows: 7.7 on the first day, 7.2 on the second day and 7.3 on the third day.
