Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana: (1) Tingkat berdayaan petani binaan Taman Teknologi Pertanian (TTP) Mollo dalam mengadopsi teknologi pemanfaatan bio urine sapi di Desa Netpala. (2) Tingkat keberhasilan TTP Mollo dalam membina usaha petani sayur organik terhadap pemanfaatan bio urine sapi di Desa Netpala. (3) Tingkat keberhasilan TTP Mollo dalam membina modal petani dalam penggunaan teknologi pemanfaatan bio urine sapi di Desa Netpala. (4) Tingkat keberhasilan TTP Mollo dalam membina kelembagaan petani dalam penggunaan teknologi pemanfaatan bio urine sapi di Desa Netpala
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Penentuan lokasi di lakukan secara sengaja (purposive sampling) yaitu Desa Netpala Kecamatan Mollo Utara Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh petani yang tergabung dalam kelompok tani sayur yang mengelola bio urine sapi yaitu: kelompok tani Akar Mas, kelompok tani Bumi, kelompok tani Imanuel, kelompok tani Meo Eno, dan kelompok tani Tunas Baru dan yang beranggota 101 orang. Petani sampel ditentukan secara simple random sampling dengan rumus Slovin, sehingga diperoleh petani sampel sebanyak 50 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis rata-rata dan persentase dengan menggunakan pendekatan skala Likert.
Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa 80% responden tergolong pada usia dewasa produktif dan 20% usia non produktif (>55) tahun. pendidikan formal tergolong rendah (38%) dari total responden yakni hanya mengikuti pendidikan hingga tamat SD), pendidikan non formal (100%), dan luas lahan usahatani berada pada interval <0,5 Ha yakni 86%. Program pemberdayaan kelompok tani di Desa Netpala telah berhasil dalam mengadopsi teknologi pemanfaatan bio urine sapi, dan berada pada kategori “Tinggi” dengan skor rata-rata 89,23% . Usaha petani di Desa Netpala meningkat dengan menerapkan teknologi pemanfaatan bio urine sapi dan berada pada kategori “Tinggi” dengan skor rata-rata 85,50%. Modal petani di Desa Netpala bertambah dengan menerapkan teknologi pemanfaatkan bio urine sapi dan berada pada kategori “Tinggi” dengan skor rata-rata 87,56%. Kelembagaan petani di Desa Netpala meningkat dengan menerapkan teknologi pemanfaatan bio urine sapi dan berada pada kategori “Tinggi” denga skor rata-rata 86,60%.
ABSTRACT
This study aims to find out how: (1) The level of farmers empowerment of Agricultural Technology Park Construction (TTP) Mollo in adopting the technology of cattle bio-urine cattle in Netpala Village. (2) The success rate of TTP Mollo in activity constucting of organic vegetable farmers toward the utilization of cattle bio-urine in Netpala Village. (3) The success rate of TTP Mollo in construction farmer's capital in the use of cattle bio urine technology in Netpala Village. (4) The success rate of TTP Mollo in construction the farmer institution in the use of cattle bio-urine technology in Netpala Village
Study method which used was the survey method. The determination of location by purposive sampling namely Netpala Village, North Mollo Sub-district of South Central Timor Regency. The population of this study was all farmer who attached in vegetable farmer group which manage cattle bio-urine, sush as: Akar Mas farmer group, Bumi farmer group, Imanuel farmer group, Meo Eno farmer group and Tunas Baru farmer group with members of 101 person. Sample of farmer was simple random sampling determinated by Slovin formulas, untill obtained sample of farmer as many as 50 person. Data analysis which used in this study were qualitative descriptive analysis and average and persentage analysis by using Likert Scale approach.
The results of the research showed that 80% of respondents were on productive age and 20% were non-productive age (> 55) years old. Formal education of farmers was categorized low (38%) with the total respondents only followed the education just until primary school, non-formal education (100%), and 86% of farmland area was at interval <0.5 Ha. The farmer group empowerment program in Netpala Village had been successful in adopting cattle bio-urine technology and it was in the "High" category with an average score of 89.23%. The farmers' business in Netpala Village increased because of the applying of cattle bio-urine and it was in the "High" category with an average score of 85.50%. The farmers' capital in Netpala Village increased because of applying of cattle bio-urine with the score was categorized in the "High" category with an average score of 87.56%. Institutional farmers in Netpala Village increased through applying the technology of cattle bio-urine was in the "High" category with an average score of 86.60%.
