The aim of this research is to determine the forms and factors that cause violence against teenagers in Motongbang Village, Teluk Mutiara District, Alor. The type of research used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach to reveal and explain the psychological meaning of an informant's life experience regarding violence experienced in the family. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation and interview techniques. The participants in this study were 6 people who experienced violence in the family. There were 2 forms of violence found in this research, namely physical violence in the form of hitting with objects, slapping, twisting, kicking and sometimes even bruising and wounds and psychological violence, namely being cursed with the word pukimai, calling informants as animals (puppies). , unlucky child, calling a child stupid if it causes hurt feelings by the informant. Factors that cause parents to commit violence against teenagers include fatigue factors, children's pressure to provide for their needs, parental conflict factors such as parents committing domestic violence (KDRT), divorce factors (parental separation) which can result in physical and psychological violence. in teenagers. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that parents commit violence based on mistakes made by teenagers and also several factors that can result in violence against teenagers. So the author's advice is aimed at parents or families and also teenagers.
