Abstract
ABSTRACT- This study aims to design and build a web-based correspondence administration information system so
that it can assist employees in the Electrical Engineering Education Study Program in managing correspondence
administration and to find out the progress of incoming and outgoing letters in the Electrical Engineering Education
Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Science. Education at Nusa Cendan University, Kupang. The research
method used in this research is waterfal research which is one of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) models
which is often used in developing information systems or software systems. Systematic and sequential software
development that starts at the level and progress of the system to analysis, design, code, test, and maintenance. The
research instrument for web-based administrative information systems was in the form of a questionnaire with research
data sources consisting of 1 media expert and 29 students who were still active in the Electrical Engineering Education
Department. The results of this study after going through several stages of usability testing, and functionality. It can be
concluded that the design of a web-based electronic mail administration information system in the electrical engineering
education study program was declared successful, because it was able to provide convenience according to the needs
and functions of the system created. Furthermore, for the effectiveness of web-based electronic mail administration in the
electrical engineering education study program, an average of 1.061 was obtained which was located at a score of 88%,
which means that the average respondent was in the "Decent" category.
