Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement

Jurnal SPEKTRO is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics based on the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

  • Duties of Authors: Authors must guarantee that submitted manuscripts are entirely original, free of plagiarism, and have not been published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. All sources used must be properly cited.

  • Duties of Editors: Editors evaluate manuscripts purely based on their academic merit without regard to authors' background. Editors ensure a fair double-blind peer-review process and maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Duties of Reviewers: Reviewers assist in editorial decisions by providing objective, constructive, and timely evaluation. Manuscripts must be treated as confidential documents.

  • Plagiarism Policy: Manuscripts with similarity index exceeding 20% (verified via Turnitin) or containing fabricated data will face immediate rejection or retraction following COPE guidelines.
