Author Guidelines
JURNAL COMMUNIO: JURNAL JURUSAN ILMU KOMUNIKASI
Submission of a manuscript to Jurnal Communio must comply with the following requirements:

Manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Communio must present original research that has not been published previously, either in whole or in part, and is not simultaneously under review or being considered for publication by another journal.

Manuscripts intended for publication before Volume 16, Issue 1, may be written in either Indonesian or English. They must contain between 4,000 and 9,000 words, excluding the title, abstracts, and reference list. Manuscripts must be prepared in Times New Roman, 12-point font, with double-line spacing and 2.5 cm margins on all sides. Page numbers must be placed in the bottom-right corner of each page. Beginning with Volume 16, Issue 1, in 2027, Jurnal Communio will accept manuscripts written only in English. Authors should refer to the Announcements menu for further information regarding this policy.

Manuscripts must be organised in the following order: Title, Author Information, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Research Method, Research Findings, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (if applicable), and References.

Title.
The title should be written in either English or Bahasa Indonesia, accurately reflecting the content of the manuscript. It should not exceed 12 words or two lines. The title must be typed in Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold, single-spaced, and centered.

Author(s) and Affiliation
A maximum of five authors is allowed. Authors’ names should be written without academic degrees, honorary titles, or professional designations. Each author's institutional affiliation, full postal address, and email address must be provided. The corresponding author should also include a telephone number. This section should be typed in Times New Roman, 10 pt, single-spaced, and centered.

Abstract
Each manuscript must include both English and Bahasa Indonesia abstracts, each consisting of 150–200 words. The abstract should briefly describe the research background, research problem, objectives, methods, key findings, and conclusion. It should be typed in Times New Roman, 10 pt, single-spaced, and justified.

Keywords
Provide 3–5 keywords that represent the main concepts of the manuscript. Keywords should be written both in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Introduction
Begin this section with the heading INTRODUCTION (uppercase, 12 pt, bold). The introduction should present the research background, literature review, research gap, research questions and/or objectives, and the significance of the study. The recommended length is approximately 1,000-2,000 words. No additional subheadings should be used in this section.

Method
Begin this section with the heading METHOD (uppercase, 12 pt, bold). This section should clearly explain the research design, research setting, participants or data sources, data collection procedures, research instruments (if applicable), and data analysis techniques. The recommended length is 700–1,500 words. No additional subheadings should be used.

Research Findings
Begin this section with the heading RESEARCH FINDINGS (uppercase, 12 pt, bold). Present the research findings objectively and systematically according to the research questions or objectives. Tables, figures, graphs, photographs, or other visual materials may be included to support the presentation of findings. The recommended length is 2,000–3,000 words. Subheadings may be used where appropriate to improve readability.

Discussion
Begin this section with the heading DISCUSSION (uppercase, 12 pt, bold). The discussion should critically interpret the findings by relating them to relevant theories, concepts, and previous studies. Authors are encouraged to highlight the originality, theoretical contribution, practical implications, and limitations of the study. The recommended length is 1,500–3,000 words. Excessive use of subheadings is discouraged.

Conclusions
Begin this section with the heading CONCLUSIONS (uppercase, 12 pt, bold). The conclusion should succinctly summarize the principal findings and directly answer the research questions and/or objectives. Where appropriate, recommendations for future research and practical implications may also be included. The recommended length is 300–500 words. No additional subheadings should be used.

Acknowledgments (Optional)
Authors may acknowledge funding agencies, institutional support, or individuals who made significant contributions to the completion of the research.

References
Begin this section with the heading REFERENCES (uppercase, 12 pt, bold). All works cited in the manuscript must appear in the reference list, and all references listed must be cited in the text. The manuscript should contain at least 25 references, of which a minimum of 80% must be journal articles published within the last 10 years.

In-text citations should follow the APA 7th Edition style (American Psychological Association) http://www.apastyle.org.

The reference list must be arranged alphabetically, single-spaced, and formatted according to the APA 7th edition style.

The author(s) will receive two complimentary hard copies of the journal. Additional hard copies may be ordered for Rp. 80,000 per copy (excluding shipping fees). For international orders, a minimum order of 10 copies is required.
