Effect of Inoculum Level of Fresh Cow Feces Solution (FCFS) on The Content and Digestibility of NDF and ADF In Vitro Fermented Coffee Husks
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of inoculum levels from fresh cow feses solution (LFSS) on the content and digestibility of NDF and ADF in vitro in fermented coffee husks. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a complete random design pattern (RAL) consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replicates. The treatment used is LI-0 (coffee husks without inoculum), LI-10 (coffee husks + fresh cow feces solution 10 ml), LI-20 (coffee husks + fresh cow feces solution 20 ml), LI-30 (coffee husks + fresh cow feces solution 30 ml), and LI-40 (coffee husks + fresh cow feces solution 40 ml). The variables observed were the content of neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF), digestibility of NDF and ADF in vitro. The data collected was analyzed using multiple fingerprint analysis (ANOVA) and followed by the Duncan multiple distance test. The results of this study showed that the average NDF content (%) was LI-0 (57.19); LI-10 (64.16); LI-20 (65.18); LI-30 (69.03); LI-40 (63.92); ADF content (%) LI-0 (50.27); LI-10 (57.70); LI-20 (58.71); LI-30 (63.55); LI-40 (58.49); indigestion of NDF (%) LI-0 (35.48); LI-10 (32.41); LI-20 (32.55); LI-30 (34.64); LI-40 (32.08); digestibility ADF (%) LI-0 (32.95); LI-10 (30.08); LI-20 (29.33); LI-30 (30.31); LI-40 (28,57). The results of statistical analysis showed that the inoculum level of fresh cow fecal solution had a real effect (P<0.05) on NDF and ADF content, and an intangible effect (P>0.05) on the digestibility of NDF and ADF in vitro. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the higher the inoculum level of fresh cow fecal solution in the fermentation of coffee husks, there was an increase in NDF and ADF content, while the digestibility of NDF and ADF showed the same results at all levels of inoculum.
Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek level inokulum dari larutan feses sapi segar pada kadar serta kecernaan NDF dan ADF secara in vitro pada kulit kopi fermentasi. Metode pergunakan dalam studi ini metode percobaan dengan pola rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) meliputi 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dikenakan yakni LI-0 (kulit kopi tanpa inokulum), LI-10 (kulit kopi + larutan feses sapi segar 10ml), LI-20 (kulit kopi + larutan feses sapi segar 20ml), LI-30 (kulit kopi + larutan feses sapi segar 30ml) dan LI-40 (kulit kopi + larutan feses sapi segar 40ml). Variabel yang diamati yakni Kadar neutral detergent fiber (NDF), kadar acid detergent fiber (ADF), kecernaan NDF dan ADF secara in vitro. Data yang dihimpun dianalisis pergunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda Duncan. Hasil studi ini menampilkan rata-rata kadar NDF (%) yakni LI-0 (57,19); LI-10 (64,16); LI-20 (65,18); LI-30 (69,03); LI-40 (63,92); kandungsn ADF (%) LI-0 (50,27); LI-10 (57,70); LI-20 (58,71); LI-30 (63,55); LI-40 (58,49); kecernaan NDF (%) LI-0 (35,48); LI-10 (32,41); LI-20 (32,55); LI-30 (34,64); LI-40 (32,08); kecernaan ADF (%) LI-0 (32,95); LI-10 (30,08); LI-20 (29,33); LI-30 (30,31); LI-40 (28,57). Hasil anova menampilkan level inokulum larutan feses sapi segar berefek nyata (P<0,05) pada kadar NDF dan ADF dan berefek tidak nyata (P>0,05) pada kecernaan NDF dan ADF secara in vitro. Dari hasil studi disimpulkan makin tinggi level inokulum larutan feses sapi segar dalam fermentasi kulit kopi terjadi peningkatan kadar NDF dan ADF, sedangkan kecernaan NDF dan ADF menampilkan hasil yang sama pada semua level inokulum
