Pengaruh Penambahan Sari Buah Sirsak (Annona Muricata L) Dalam Pengencer Sitrat-Kuning Telur Terhadap Kualitas Spermatozoa Babi Persilangan Landrace X Duroc

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengevaluasi efek penambahan sari buah sirsak (SBS) pada pengencer sitrat-kuning telur (S-KT) pada mutu spermatozoa babi hasil persilangan Landrace x Duroc. Materi yang dipakai ialah semen segar dari satu ekor pejantan Landrace x Duroc berusia 1,5 tahun, sehat juga sudah terbiasa dilakukan penampungan semen. Rancangan penelitian yang diterapkan ialah RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) dengan enam perlakuan, lima ulangan: P0 (S-KT), P1 (S-KT + 2% SBS), P2 (S-KT + 4% SBS), P3 (S-KT + 6% SBS), P4 (S-KT + 8% SBS), dan P5 (S-KT + 10% SBS). Semen yang diencerkan disimpan di coolbox dengan suhu 15-20^oC serta dievaluasi setiap 12 jam. Parameter yang ditinjau melingkupi motilitas, viabilitas, abnormalitas, serta daya tahan hidup spermatozoa. Data yang didapat dianalisis memakai ANOVA (analisis varians), kemudian dilaksanakan uji Duncan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antar perlakuan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa hingga 48 jam masa penyimpanan, perlakuan P2 memberikan hasil terbaik dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya, dengan motilitas sebesar 52,00±4,47%, viabilitas 61,90±4,04%, abnormalitas 4,90±0,82%, dan daya tahan hidup spermatozoa selama 53,60 jam. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan 4% sari buah sirsak dalam pengencer S-KT merupakan dosisi optimal dalam menjaga mutu spermatozoa babi persilangan Landrace x Duroc sampai 48 jam penyimpanan.

This study aims to evaluate the effect of the addition of soursop fruit juice (SJ) in citrate-yolk diluent (C-EY) on the quality of boars spermatozoa from Landrace x Duroc crosses. The material used was in the form of fresh cement from a 1.5-year-old Landrace x Duroc male in healthy condition and was used to cement storage. The research design applied was RAL with six treatments and five replicates, namely: T0 (C-EY), T1 (C-EY + 2% SJ), T2 (C-EY + 4% SJ), T3 (C-EY + 6% SJ), T4 (C-EY + 8% SJ), and T5 (C-EY + 10% SJ). The diluted cement is stored in a coolbox at 15-20oC and evaluated every 12 hours. The observed parameters included spermatozoa motility, viability, abnormalities, and longevity. The data obtained was analyzed using ANOVA, then followed by the Duncan test to determine the differences between treatments. The results showed that up to 48 hours of storage period, the P2 treatment gave the best results compared to other treatments, with a motility of 52.00±4.47%, viability of 61.90±4.04%, abnormality of 4.90±0.82%, and spermatozoa survival of 53.60 hours. Thus, it can be concluded that the addition of 4% soursop juice in S-KT diluent is the optimal dose in maintaining the quality of Landrace x Duroc cross boars spermatozoa for up to 48 hours of storage.
