Abstract

The research has been conducted in Nagekeo Regency, in January 2025 with the aim of finding out the marketing mechanism, farmer's share, marketing cost, marketing profit, and marketing efficiency of goat livestock in Nagekeo Regency. The data collection method used in this study is the survey method. The types of data used are qualitative data and quantitative data sourced from primary data and secondary data. The sampling method is carried out in four stages, namely the stage of determining sample sub-districts and villages using the purposive sampling method, the stage of determining sample breeders is carried out randomly non-proportional sampling and the determination of sample traders using the snowball sampling technique. The data analysis method used is marketing analysis including farmer's share, marketing cost, profit maximization, and marketing efficiency. The results of the study showed that the farmer's share of goat livestock marketing in Nagekeo Regency was 52.15%, the sub-district collector was 65.17%, and the district collector trader was 100%. The total marekting cost of sub-district collector traders and district collector traders is IDR 1,100,000, marketing profit of sub-district collector traders is IDR 322,952, district collector traders are IDR 406,333, and financing efficiency is 28.77%. The results of the study show that goat livestock marketing in Nagekeo Regency has not been efficient.

Suatu penelitian telah dilakukan di Kabupaten Nagekeo, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui mekanisme pemasaran, farmer’s share, marketing cost, marketing profit dan efisiensi pemasaran ternak kambing di Kabupaten Nagekeo. Metode penelitan ini adalah metode survei untuk memperoleh data primer dan data sekunder. Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif yang bersumber dari data primer dan data sekunder. Metode penentuan contoh dilakukan dalam empat tahap. Tahap pertama penentuan kecamatan contoh menggunakan metode purposive sampling.Tahap ke dua penentuan desa/kelurahan contoh juga  menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Tahap ke tiga penentuan peternak contoh dilakukan secara acak non proporsional dan tahap ke empat penetuan pedagang contoh menggunakan teknik snow ball sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis pemasaran meliputi farmer’s share, marketing cost, marketing profit dan efisiensi pemasaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  farmer’s share pemasaran ternak kambing di Kabupaten Nagekeo sebesar 52,15%, pedagang pengumpul kecamatan sebesar 65,17% dan pedagang pengumpul kabupaten sebesar 100%. Total marketing cost pedagang pengumpul kecamatan dan pedagang pengumpul kabupaten sebesar Rp1.100.000, marketing profit pedagang pengumpul kecamatan sebesar Rp322.952, pedagang pengumpul kabupaten sebesar Rp406.333 dan efisiensi pembiayaan sebesar 28,77%. Kesimpulannya pemasaran ternak kambing di Kabupaten Nagekeo belum efisien.
