Pengaruh Pemberian Ekstrak Kulit Faloak (Sterculia Quadrifida) dalam Air Minum terhadap Produksi Karkas Ayam Broiler
The Effect Of Faloak Bark Extract (Sterculia Quadrifida) in Drinking Water on Broiler Chicken Carcass Production
Abstrak
This study investigated how broiler chicken final body weight, carcass, non-carcass and abdominal fat percentages were affected by the addition of faloak skin extract to drinking water. This study was conducted using a completely randomized design, which included four treatments and five replications. There were 20 experimental units because each replication consisted of five chickens. P0 was not given faloak skin extract, P1 was given 2.5 ml of faloak extract per liter of drinking water, P2 was given 3 ml of faloak extract per liter and P3 was given 3.5 ml of faloak extract per liter. This study examined final body weight, carcass, non-carcass and abdominal fat products. Analysis of Variance, or ANOVA, was used to analyze the study data. The results of the statistical analysis showed no significant effect (P>0.05) on final body weight, carcass percentage, non-carcass and abdominal fat percentage after the administration of faloak extract in drinking water (P value above 0.05). Administration of faloak extract with a concentration of 3.5 ml/L of drinking water did not have any effect on overall body weight, non-carcass percentage and abdominal fat percentage.
Kajian ini menyelidiki bagaimana berat badan akhir ayam pedaging, persentase karkas, non-karkas dan lemak perut dipengaruhi oleh penambahan ekstrak kulit faloak ke dalam air minum. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan memakai rancangan acak lengkap, yang mencakup empat perlakuan dan lima kali ulangan. Ada 20 unit percobaan karena setiap ulangan terdiri dari lima ayam. P0 tidak diberi ekstrak kulit faloak, P1 diberi 2,5 ml ekstrak faloak per liter air minum, P2 diberi 3 ml ekstrak faloak per liter dan P3 diberi 3,5 ml ekstrak faloak per liter. Kajian ini meneliti berat badan akhir, produk karkas, non-karkas dan lemak perut. Analisis Varians, atau ANOVA, dipakai untuk menganalisis data kajian. Hasil analisis statistik terlihat n tidak ada efek nyata (p>0,05) BB akhir, persentase karkas, persentase non karkas dan persentase lemak abdomen setelah pemberian ekstrak faloak dalam air minum (nilai P di atas 0,05). Pemberian ekstrak faloak dengan konsentrasi 3,5 ml/L air minum tidak memberikan efek pada BB keseluruhan, persentase non karkas dan persentase lemak abdomen.
