Harmonisasi Kekuasaan Untuk Pembangunan Dan Lingkungan di Era Digital
Abstract
Abstract
Power plays a strategic role in determining the direction of development policies and environmental management. In practice, development that is not accompanied by policy harmonization and environmental protection has the potential to cause ecological degradation, social conflict, and environmental injustice. This article aims to examine the importance of harmonizing power, development, and environmental protection in the Indonesian context, particularly in the digital era. The research method employed is library research, utilizing scientific literature, laws and regulations, and online media publications as primary sources, complemented by the analysis of selected environmental case studies. The findings indicate that regulatory inconsistency, weak coordination between central and local governments, and the dominance of sectoral interests are major factors hindering sustainable development. Policy harmonization, strengthening the role of government, public participation, and corporate responsibility are essential elements in maintaining a balance between development and environmental sustainability. Furthermore, the implementation of digital government (e-government) through integrated licensing systems, data transparency, and technology-based environmental monitoring serves as a strategic instrument to support environmentally oriented development policies. Therefore, harmonizing power through legal, participatory, and digital approaches is key to achieving equitable, sustainable development while ensuring environmental protection.
Keywords: policy harmonization; power; environmental protection; e-government.
