RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN CABAI RAWIT (Capsicum frutescens L.) AKIBAT PERBEDAAN KONSENTRASI PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR CAMPURAN KULIT BUAH PISANG DAN DAUN KELOR

Abstrak

This research was conducted at Penfui Village, Maulafa District, Kupang City during January – April 2021. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer mixed with Moringa leaves and banana peels on the growth and yield of chili plants and to determine the best concentration of liquid organic fertilizer mixed with Moringa leaves and banana peels. The method using in this research was Randomized Block Design. Five concentration of banana peels and moringa leaves liquid organic fertilizer such as P0 : Without liquid organic fertilizer (control), P1 : 25% concentration of banana peels and moringa leaves, P2 : 50% concentration of banana peels and moringa leaves , P3 : 75% concentration of banana peels and moringa leaves , P4 : 100% concentration of banana peels and moringa leaves were the treatments with six blocks. The variables observed were the increase in plant height, the number of secondary branches, the number of productive branches, the total number of fresh fruit harvested per plant, and the total weight of fresh fruit harvested per plant. The result showed the  difference concentration of banana peels and moringa leaves LOF have a significant effect on cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) growth and yields. The POC concentration of the mixture of Moringa leaves and banana peels of 50% + 50% water gave significantly higher growth of cayenne pepper plants respectively in the form of a total number of harvested fresh cayenne peppers of 39 pieces per plant and a total harvested fresh fruit weight of 57, 33 grams per plant.
