Penggunaan Daun Mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia) Yang Difermentasi Sebagai Pakan Tambahan Dalam Budidaya Ikan Bandeng (Chanos chanos, Forsskal)
Abstrak
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using fermented noni
(Morinda citrifolia) leaves as additional feed on the growth, survival and hematological
conditions of milkfish in milkfish (Chanos chanos forsskal) culture and to determine the optimal
dose of fermented noni leaves. Data collection was carried out from May-August at UPT
Oesapa, Kelapa Lima sub-district. Noni leaves were fermented using 45 g / 500 g forage brown
sugar and 20 ml EM4 anaerobically for 4 days. The test animals used in this study were milkfish
logs measuring 10-12 cm g/head. treatment A = without the addition of fermented noni leaves, B
= noni leaves: commercial feed = 3:1, C = noni leaves : commercial feed = 2:2 and D = noni
leaves : commercial feed = 1:3. The highest absolute weight growth was found in treatment B of
44.66 g, the highest specific growth was 1.20% in treatment B with the lowest feed conversion
ratio of 3.98 g. in treatment B the number of erythrocytes was 4.79 106 cells/mm3 and
leukocytes 1.41 104 cells/mm3 and the survival rate was 100% in all treatments. Water quality
during the study was in normal range. The optimal dose percentage in this study is the noni leaf
ratio of 3:1 commercial feed.
Key words : Milkfish, Noni Leaf, Fermentation, Growth, Hematology.
