PERBANDINGAN KUALITAS JARINGAN 4G LTE ANTARA OPERATOR TELKOMSEL DAN TRI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE DRIVE TEST DI KECAMATAN NANGGALO

Abstrak

Kecamatan Nanggalo merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang berada dikota Padang Provinsi Sumatra Barat. Keunggulan kecepatan transfer data yang dimiliki 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) menjadikan operator telekomunikasi saling berkompetisi mem-berikan kualitas layanan terbaik, namun masih terdapat penurunan kualitas jaringan di wilayah Kecamatan Nanggalo pada operator Telkomsel dan Tri. Sehingga perlu dil-akukan drive test untuk mengukur dan mengetahui kualitas jaringan dari kedua opera-tor tersebut. Mengukur kualitas jaringan 4G dengan parameter RSRP, SINR, dan Throughput dan cara pengambilan datanya adalah benchmark. Software yang digunakan adalah TEMS Pocket untuk mengambil data pengukuran saat drive test, Software TEMS Discovery untuk mengolah data hasil drive test. Hasil perbandingan didapatkan pada Kecamatan Nanggalo untuk operator Tri memiliki kualitas jaringan yang lebih baik yaitu Dapat dilihat pada parameter SINR memiliki nilai persentase 43.17% dan Throughput dengan nilai persentase 83.56% sedangkan pada operator Telkomsel memiliki nilai SINR dengan persentase 17.58% dan Throughput dengan nilai persentase 36.59%.
