PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS BERITA MELALUI MEDIA VIDEO PERISTIWA OLEH SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 2 KUPANG OEBOBO
Abstract
writing skills are a productive and expressive activity. In this writing activity, the writer must be skilled in presenting language structure and vocabulary. Writing skills will not come automatically, but must go through a lot of practice and regular practice. This research aims to improve news text writing skills through video media of events in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Kupang. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. This research is also classroom action research. Classroom action research is carried out through four main steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. This research took place in pre-cycle and cycle 1. The research results show an increase in the pre-cycle and cycle 1. At the pre-cycle stage the average student score was 57.85%, while during cycle 1 the average student score was 74.59% (KKM score 70). from the results of the research it can be concluded that the ability to write news texts through video media of events by class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Kupang is in the Good category.
