Abstract
The problem in this research is the meaning and value in the Ore Ana tradition. The purpose of this research is to understand the meaning and value contained in Ore Ana tradition in Puhu Village. This research used descriptive qualitative method. This method is used with the consideration that the author attempts to clearly reveal the existing facts. This method is supported by the utilization of natural data collected by observation, interview, documentation or literature study and recording techniques. The theory used is cultural linguistic theory. The results obtained from this study are the meaning and value of the Ore Ana tradition. The text spoken in the Ore Ana tradition is spoken to something that is believed to have extraordinary powers that can grant the wishes of a person or group of people and there are meanings in the speech of the ore ana tradition namely; religious meaning, spiritual meaning and meaning of requests as well as cultural value and religious value.
