Abstract

According to the Minister of National Education Regulation No. 16 of 2007 on Academic
Qualification and Teacher Competency Standards, as for the various competencies of teachers that
must be owned by Teachers include: Pedagogic Competency, Personality Competence, Social
Competence and Professional Competence. Based on an open questionnaire, some of the students
said that with the provisions that have been obtained from STKIP PGRI Tulungagung, they are
ready to work as educators, but some students say that they feel not ready to be an educator for
various reasons. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of partially or simultaneously
Internship Program, Teacher Profession Interest, and Locus Of Internal Control Against Readiness
Becoming Student Educator Economics Study Program STKIP PGRI Tulungagung Who Taking
Thesis Year 2017/2018. The research method used is descriptive method with quantitative
approach. The analytical technique used multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of
the study concluded that: There is a significant influence partially or simultaneously Internship
Program, Teacher Profession Interest, and Locus Of Internal Control Against Readiness Becoming
Student Educator. The value of coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) of 0.49, it means 49%
Readiness Becoming Student Educator is influenced by Internship Program, Teacher Profession
Interest, and Locus Of Internal Control.
